Cookies set by our site

pawcasso-portraits-session: keeps your order and your choices, such as your currency, while you use the site, and keeps you signed in. Deleted after two hours without activity.
XSRF-TOKEN: protects the forms on the site from being submitted by other websites. Lasts as long as your session.
remember_web_…: only if you sign in. Keeps you signed in on this device until you sign out, for up to 400 days.
pawcasso_device: only if you create a preview on the site. Recognises this device so fair-use limits apply fairly. We store only a scrambled version of it. Lasts 30 days.
pawcasso_cookies: remembers that you have seen our cookie notice, so we do not show it on every page. Lasts 90 days.

Cookies set by our providers

__cf_bm and cf_clearance: set by Cloudflare, our security provider, to tell people from automated bots. They last up to 30 minutes, or longer if you are asked to complete a security check.
__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: set by Stripe on our checkout page to prevent fraud and keep your payment secure. __stripe_mid lasts one year and __stripe_sid lasts 30 minutes.
Onelink: if you choose to save or use your details with Onelink (Stripe's quick checkout) when you pay, Stripe sets cookies to remember you. These are only set if you choose to use it.

When you send us a photo or create an account, Cloudflare Turnstile may also check that you are a person. It works without advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we do not ask for consent

The law allows cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, such as keeping you signed in or making a payment secure, without asking for your consent. We show a short notice the first time you visit so you know what we use.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to sign in or buy, because the site cannot work without them.

Changes

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.
